Description

The occurrence data was acquired during the fieldwork campaigns for the PhD work of Luís Catarino, during his PhD thesis project. For the study of the plant communities, 232 phytoecological surveys were made, distributed in all the territory of Guinea-Bissau and in the different kinds of habitats. The whole country was covered by vegetation relevés. However, the dataset only provides occurrence data.

Data Records

The data in this occurrence resource has been published as a Darwin Core Archive (DwC-A), which is a standardized format for sharing biodiversity data as a set of one or more data tables. The core data table contains 4,059 records.

This IPT archives the data and thus serves as the data repository. The data and resource metadata are available for download in the downloads section.
